The Ivan Frank was built in Russia as a lifeboat for the famous cruise liner MS Ivan Franko. When the liner was broken up, the lifeboat was sold and eventually ended up in Amsterdam. The Ivan Frank has been completely restored. The boat is quiet, comfortable and the ideal choice for a canal cruise with friends, family or business colleagues. The Ivan Frank cruises the Amsterdam canals and beyond and offers a complete range of tailor-made packages and catering.
The Ivan Frank is unique because it is the only open boat in Amsterdam that:
- is aksed to openopen the flaoting liberation concert on the Amstel (check youtube video) for the Queen each year
- is truely convertible. It normally cruises completely open, but can close the hood that covers the entire boat when it starts raining
- has a toilet on board in the nose of the boat (you do not have to make unnecessary sanitary stops along the way)
- has a built-in kitchen including 2 fridges, built-in BBQ set, a grill, etc.
- regarding the built-in kitchen you can also rent the boat with a caterer on board who cooks for you whilst cruising
- has LED lighting under the seats
- has a professional stereo with 12 loudspeakers on board
- is equipped with GPS tracking
- sails with a fixed crew in a uniform
- can be rented for advertising purposes with the logo of your company on the sides of the boat

- also has an extensive menu on board. If you have not previously ordered something to eat, you can still do so during your voyage. Your skipper will take your order, call our restaurant, set sail for the waterfront restaurant to pick up everything and proceed with your canal cruise. The Avanti is truly a classic boat.
She was built in 1909 and recently renovated. The Avanti is
a beautiful classic boat with a maximum capacity of 40 + the
permanent crew. The Avanti has a few unique
features:
- she may be fully or partially open or closed according to the weather. When the weather is nice, there is nothing better then to have her completely open, but if there is a little rain, you obviously want to keep dry.
- she has a professional stereo with iPhone connection on board
- she has central heating on board
- she has a toilet on board
- she has LED lights in the floors, underwater lighting and a crown chandelier above the dining table
- she can be rented with a BBQ and BBQ chef on board
The Avanti also has an extensive menu on board. If you have not previously ordered anything to eat, you can let the captain know during the canal cruise. Your captain will provide you with a menu, take your order and call it through to our restaurant. He will then set sail for the waterfront restaurant to pick up your food and to proceed your cruise. Your order will be eaten on board! Example, you can choose from hot or cold bitter garnish, but also from real meals as a delicious sandwich, a Hamburger on a crispy ball served with French fries, a Tagliatelini di Mare with clams, mussels, prawns, langoustine and sundried tomatoes or Tarte Tartin of forgotten vegetables with organic taleggio and a syrup of aged balsamic. Nowadays more and more people would like to buy their own luxury motor-boat in Amsterdam and take her out on the water to enjoy the Amsterdam canals with friends and/or business relations. Owning a luxury open boat is however quite expensive and leaves you with all kinds of returning problems, worries and costs.

Boat Amsterdam Ltd offers an all inclsuive package whereby you can buy an open boat including all additional services such maintenance, mooring, winter dock, insurances, cleaning, crew, catering etc. It's possible to purchase a boat out right, but you can also buy a fractional ownership share it with one (or more) owner(s). You'll only have the joys ofg owning your own boat and not the worries!!!
Your open boat motor-boat will be moored in our marina and you can just call or e-mail us when you need her and we will delivere your boat at the desired address. Your provate skipper will return the boat to the marina at the end of your canal cruise and clean her. You private skipper can also provide a wide variety of catering options.

The I Am Hugo is a great open boat which can host up to 22 people. The I Am Hugo has some unique qualities and advantages :
- it can be (partly) closed (nice when it starts to rain!)
- it has a good music installation on board
- it always rides with a steady crew in a crew uniform
- it has cold drinks on board, catering can be ordered in advance
- it can be rented with a BBQ and BBQ chef on board.
- if you did not order any catering in advance there's a menu on board. Your captain can provide you with the menu, you can let the captain know what you would like to eat and he will place your order at our restaurant and sail towarsd the restaurant to pick up your food and continue the journey.
